About Rakel Tangvald
Rakel grew up in the competitive dance world starting at age three, all the way up until age 18. Her training in dance styles includes ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, modern, hip hop and more. She graduated with a BA in Dance Choreography and Performance from The University of Montana Dance Program (Go Griz!). Rakel's studies led her to guest train under The Royal Family Dance Crew in New Zealand, where she focused on expanding her knowledge of hip hop and dance cultures from around the world. She has been choreographing competitive and recreational dance pieces of many styles since 2016. And she is just getting started! Rakel is so excited to continue to be a part of the Sapphire School of Dance and Motion family, and can’t wait for all the artistic opportunities to come.
Hip Hop Workshops
*Beginner/Intermediate Workshop (age 8-12)Friday, October 16th, 3 pm to 4:30 pm. $25
*Intermediate/Advanced Workshop (age 13+)Friday, October 16th, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. $30
Adult Ballet Class
Adult Ballet Class (age 15 +) all skill levelsFriday, October 16th, 7pm to 8pm. $15
Dance Headshots
Dance Headshot spaces available for Thursday, October 15th starting at 4:15 pm. 3 headshots for $20
